Is Electric Heating The Most Low Maintenance?

Tools

Keeping your home at the right temperature can be difficult thanks to our changeable British weather. One day is frosty, the next rainy, and temperatures can fluctuate by 10 degrees or more from day to day. Even if you have central heating, you’ll probably find yourself turning it up and down each day as your central thermostat finds it difficult to keep up. Electric heating offers a low-maintenance alternative, even in the strangest of weather.

Individual Thermostats

Our electric radiators work on a room-by-room basis, each with their own individual thermostat monitoring the temperature of that particular room. This means that if one room is too cold, the radiator will boost its heat output to make up for it. If another room in a different part of the house is too warm, the radiator will lower its heat output accordingly. You could set your whole house to one specific temperature, but find that each radiator works slightly differently to get the same results. If you suffer from always having to turn your central heating up or down, you’ll find this saves you a lot of effort!

Clever Temperature Control

As mentioned above, with our electric radiators you can literally set the temperature you want each room to be. This means that each room really can be the same temperature, but also that each room can be different if you prefer. Your living room for example might be kept warm and cosy, but your spare bedroom kept cooler as it doesn’t get much use. With an electric radiator in each room, you won’t run into the problem of heat failing to circulate the house properly or rooms being heated unevenly and inefficiently.

Set Your Own Schedule

As well as having a different temperature in each room, you can set different heat levels for different times of the day. Like it nice and toasty when you first get up in the morning? It’s easy with our fully-programmable radiators. Just choose a heating schedule to suit your lifestyle, set it, and forget about it.

No Boiler Servicing

Of course, one of the main drawbacks of traditional central heating is the need to have your boiler serviced on a yearly basis – and if it breaks, it can be extremely expensive. With no central boiler, electric heating cuts down hugely on potential maintenance costs. All you need to install our radiators is a plug socket nearby. There are no pipes, no mess and no ongoing maintenance needed.

Extra Silent Operation

Perhaps the biggest surprise for people switching to electric heating is how quiet it is compared to traditional heating. Even our oil-filled comfort control radiator is extra silent compared to other forms of heating, meaning that you might not even be aware of the work it’s doing in the background to keep your home comfortable. After all, who wants to worry about their home heating?
